Hello! I thought i should blog today because it had been awhile since i did.

As most of you know, i had the greatest night of 2010 last Wednesday where i'd perform with BeatsEncore for Jam N' Hop!

Just some of the people involved. We collaborated with Capoeira for them to dance to our music. Well, it did justice for Zaini about visual arts! So our gadzillion hours of practice was gratefully relished on stage with maximum energy, Zaini was full of praises! I tell you, that wasn't the best part.

The crowd was.

From all my performances, i think Jam N' Hop has the best crowd ever! Dancing along with us, moving and grooving to our tunes! As a performer, it felt so great just to be there, crowd pumping! Unbelievable.

Here's a closer look at my outfit/costume! Haha, nothing really interesting there though. Beside me is my vice-president of the percussion group. We've been through a lot, bringing and maintaining our reputation in our school.

See! This was taken at the earlier part of our piece, and you can say, it was still a warm up mood. IT GOT SO MUCH BETTER AND WOW. I cannot emphasize on how great the energy and crowd was. In the picture, i'm at the back row to the left. If you've watched the performance, i walked to the edge of the stage towards the crowd with my big-ass surdo for my moment! Doing the surdo lift and playing at the same time! I had trouble lifting it up at first, because i figured i had already used almost all my strengths earlier at the piece dancing. Luckily, my blunder wasn't all that bad and i covered it up anyway! Hehe, i just felt that sudden surge of power in my already weaken left arm and i managed to do the constant surdo playing with up and down lifts. Heh, it must be the motivation i got from the crowd below me! You see, they were that great!

It ended well enough and we kept our instrument to later find ourselves running back to the pit and joining the crowd for the rest of the Jam N' Hop event! Best night in 2010. No doubt.

On a lighter note, i just finished reading 'Percy Jackson & the Sea Of Monster' book! Because of this book, i've a fetish for rainbow at the moment.

rainbows Pictures, Images and Photos

You know, in the story, or rather maybe in Greek Mythology, gold drachma were tossed into a rainbow for visual communications. Meaning, there is a god, which i think is that builds a rainbow, upon receiving the payment, he/she will connect you to a person you desire to talk to in a screen. Sorta like a 3G video call kind of thing. I mean, aren't you fascinated by how rainbows can actually do in the myth instead of being stagnant looking beautiful all the time? I'm just saying ..

Goodbye for now, and i hope i get my haircut tomorrow. Oh, and get Percy's 3rd series book! ;D
