Back by Minimal Demand! (:
Hey people, i'm well. Erm, not quite but i'm feeling so much better now. It all started with a wicked throat irritation. Sore throat. Yeah, then i had to faithfully accompany my bed to dreamland when i got home from school on Thursday. It was tough when i woke up, with a heavy headache, a torturous cough and flu. Took my temperature, 37.2 degrees. But i thought i was still able to do with those, so i had my dinner and somehow manage to fall asleep again after awhile. Midnight past, and the clocked striked 2.30am and brought me back alive. I felt terribly cold and chillish warm. Like a total terminal sickness. The fan wasn't on, and i was sweating mad. But i was feeling so cold and feverish. Took my temperature and it read 37.8 degrees. I'm not sure if that was fever but i was really uncomfortable with all the severe body aches and stuffs. Rolled on the bed for a long period of time and eventually went back to sleep.
It was Friday morning whereby i would usually wake up and get ready for school. I woke up, insist Mum brings me to the doctor and allow me to skip school for the day. She agreed. So we went to the clinic around 7 plus near 8. The receptionist was asking if i've been anywhere on the list pasted on the window. I pointed to my 'Republic Poly' weakly, and they didn't hesitate to give me a mask straight away. I had to fill in a whole junk of declaration form there. Irritating. My turn was up, and i went in. The doctor gaved me a 7 days medical leave. He said, he had to follow the rules if someone has a fever. My temperature was 37.4 degrees at that time. Hmm, so i couldn't disagree too. Got home, ate a little and downed all the disgustingly bittered pills. It didn't take long for the medicine to kick in and i felt drowsy moments later. The next thing i knew was i woke up at 1.30pm. I told mum i'll be going to school for my Science UT. I really wanted to do better than the first one. She said alright so i took another round of medication and went with a headache still hanging. Got into class and the faci was scared to bits knowing my condition. Took my temperature and it stated 36.8 degrees. I was fine, excluding the flu, cough and headache. But then, the staffs requested i do the test somewhere else. E14B. The class there were people wearing mask. Haha. Ok, good enough. Bad thing was, i couldn't concentrate much with the pain in the head. I think i flunked the test hardcore. D: Bad day, baddd day. Lynn walked me to the MRT station after that and i got home for dinner, another round of medication and went to bed. Oh, it was 5 pills, 10ml of cough syrup, and a soothing throat sweet at one go.
Saturday now. Colleagues from PizzaHut called me one after another. I was so touched by their concern! Asking me if i was fine and all. Well, i have to skip this week's work. Feeling better now and i really appreciate all the get-well-soon wishes! (:
